      |  Matt, did it come as a shock to hear that Luke Beckett has departed the club? as you said in a post once ( He´s a good room-mate to be fair, he´ll always stick the kettle on and he´s pretty tidy). We liked him and was sorry that he did not get many starts for the club this year. Looking up and forward.
Regards Mike & Thomas  Michael Denton  Hi. As you said I used to room with him, he´s been my room-mate for the last two and a bit years and I was really disappointed to see him leave. He´d been given limited chances and he wanted to go and play football. He had to drop down a couple of levels but he´s already scored a couple, so he is happy enough. I wasn’t happy to see him go - I think we could have given him more of a chance because he scored goals and that´s what we were lacking. Cheers for your question. Matt. 11 Dec 2008 17:56 Hi Matt.  graham Cheers for your question. To be honest I knew I was going to save it, I had a feeling he was going to the right and he did. Sometimes you can just tell which way they are going to go. We wouldn’t have deserved to concede that day and it was a good three points. I am quite confident with penalties and I have quite a good record. I´ve played against quite a few good strikers in my career so far. The one that stands out though is Dennis Bergkamp. I played against him in the FA Cup when I was on loan at Carlisle. I´d have to say that scoring the goal was the best moment - because we won the game that day. I was delighted to save three penalties against Crewe but we ended up losing. I´ve scored a few goals in my career so far and I always like to go up and have a go in front of goal if there´s an opportunity. The goals against Ross County was pretty good because I brought the ball down on my knee and scored with a half-volley. It was a nice goal.
