Hoping to get my Huddersfield place back

Hi. Happy New Year! I hope you all had a good Christmas. I haven’t been playing much recently and it´s been quite hard. We are doing well and we are winning games so I can´t complain - I´ll just have to wait for my turn to get back in again. Alex Smithies is doing well in goal, it´s just been bad timing for me with the new gaffer coming in. I´m dying to get back in but I´ll have to wait for my turn.

Our new manager Steve Clark is excellent. Along with Steve Black, Derek Fazackerley and Terry McDermott we´ve got a fantastic team here. They bring a lot of playing experience into the club, as well as coaching experience. Training is great now and the team has been lifted. There is a positive atmosphere here now and that has improved things no end.

We´ve got Oldham this weekend but I won´t be playing. The team has already been named and I´m not in it. I don’t cope well with being on the bench, I´m not one for sitting there watching and not playing my part. It´s alien to me and I´d much rather be playing. Hopefully it won´t be too long until I´m back in the side.
